About us...

Busydays was started by Jenny and Steve in 2008.  They studied the Diploma in Home-Based Child Care together and have both studied child development and child safety, running a successful childminding service for a number of years.
Jenny manages the day to day running of the company, so when you email or send in a booking form it will be Jenny who you hear back from.  Steve now focuses on his career as a medical professional, so he now only helps at our large events and with setting our stall up.  
Sandra & Anglea are our feet on the ground,  suppported by a number of other professional face painters and balloon modellers when the need arises.  With the support of our small team, Busydays is able to provide professional face painters for birthday parties, public and corporate events alike.



 

When a Busydays face painter attends an event they are always friendly, professional and uniformed. They will always use best practice when it comes to hygiene and only use professional face paints which comply with British and EU standards. You can rest assured they will always follow our comprehensive child protection policy and that they have been enhanced CRB or DBS checked. Busydays has £5 million public liability insurance and are happy to provide a risk assessment if required. All our face painters hold some basic first aid and Makaton skills and we are able to provide a fully trained first aider on request. Most of our face painters have experience with working with children with special needs and all our face painters have basic balloon modelling skills. Busydays undertakes that it will treat any personal information that you provide to us in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 (DPA) and General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR). To comply with the Data Protection Act (1998) we must ask for your permission to store and process your personal data for this purpose. The record of your booking will be stored in a shared electronic management system only accessed by members of the Busydays management team. Your data will only be used for the purpose of handling your booking and to request your valuable feedback on our service after the booking is complete.  We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your per-mission or are required by law to do so.  You may request details of personal information which we hold about you under the Data Protection Act 1998. Our History

Busydays started back in 2008 as an arts and crafts retailer, selling at local events and online.  The goal was to provide activities to keep children busy - hence the name!  Impressed by their professional attitude and presentation, Jenny and Steve were approached by an event organiser looking for a professional face painting team.  Over the next few years Busydays grew to meet demand and soon went on to offer fully run children's parties and a successful toddler group, plus a range of bouncy castle and soft play hire.  Busydays excellent reputation quickly grew with families, councils and event organisers across West Sussex.  With their own family growing and changing the couple decided to change the way the business was run.  Steve decided he wanted to follow his life long dream of joining the ambulance service and in 2012  it was decided that they would focus their efforts on professional face painting and balloon modelling. The team hasn't looked back since!  With a growing number of corporate bookings, and an impressive client list Jenny and Steve have a fanastic team of face painters and a loyal following of local 'groupies' who visit them at every event!
