"If my sister didn’t have day care, she would probably stay in bed all day."

Pat, our Founder and Trustee, knows first-hand the difference that compassionate support can make. As a long-time carer for her own sister, Pat understood the challenges families face when suitable adult daycare services are limited. Driven by a desire to make a real difference, she opened the doors of Busydays Daycare in 2014, providing much-needed support for adults with learning disabilities in the Lincoln area.

From those early beginnings, Busydays has grown significantly. Over the years, countless adults, families, and carers have benefited from our services, finding a safe, welcoming space where individuals are valued, empowered, and encouraged to thrive.

Despite our growth and the many positive changes along the way, our mission has remained constant: to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment where every adult with learning disabilities can enjoy meaningful activities, enhance their skills, and feel truly part of the community.
